Approx. 2200 hours
Two large oval-shaped objects at low cloud-level altitute were viewed
travelling southeast at intermediate speed. The objects were silver-gray
in color and sported a somewhat elongated configuration. Both objects
were of identical dimensions and color. No fire or lighting, other than
the silver-gray "glow", was observed. The lead object took a sudden
change of course about 90 degrees from the horizon and was immediately
followed by the second. The first increased speed, only estimated by this
writer to be subsonic. The second object immediately mirrored the speed
of the first. Both traveled out of vision in a vertical path, possibly
near the Atlantic Ocean from the Daytona Beach area.
NOTE: At the time of this sighting, this writer was (1) not under the
influence and (2) was alone with no witness corroboration.
